The 5th hole is arguably the hardest hole on the golf course. It is possible, for the longer hitters, to cut the dogleg from the tee but they must be careful to avoid the large cross bunker that splits the fairway. Only the bravest will try to thread their drive between the bunker and out of bounds that runs down the right hand side. A long and accurate approach shot will still be required to miss the deep bunker that lies to the left hand side of the green.
