Civil Ceremonies Sonning Golf Club is fully licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in our Waltham Room. This arrangement makes it possible to hold your whole wedding celebration – the service, wedding breakfast and reception – in one location; there is no need to travel to another site. It is your responsibility to ensure that all legal preliminaries for your wedding are completed and that registration officers are available to conduct your ceremony. Neither Sonning Golf Club nor anyone else can do this for you. All enquiries regarding Registration Officers should be directed to: Wokingham Registry Office Whether you choose a small intimate reception or larger celebration, Sonning Golf Club will make your special day one you will always remember. And to ensure privacy from members, the wedding party will have use of the lounge bar, and a private dining and evening reception area. We can help plan all aspects of your wedding, as well as offer advice on protocol and etiquette.
