Food & Beverage Duty Manager

We are now looking to recruit a professional and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join our F&B Team. This position will cover all aspects of food and beverage operations, acting as Duty Manager when required, with an opportunity to further develop within both bar & restaurant departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a high standard of customer service and will support our food & beverage team to ensure the setup and running of all functions is to a very high standard. You will need to possess excellent communication skills and have a great eye for detail, with suitable experience within a hotel or banqueting environment.

Duty Manager duties & requirements:

  • Ability to lead a team focused on quality service and exceeding guest expectations.
  • A ‘hands on’ team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment.
  • Reconciling daily takings and locking up the Clubhouse securely.
  • Demonstrate clear communication between departments.
  • Ability to show initiative and cope well under pressure.
  • To oversee the setup of function rooms.
  • Basic PC knowledge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant greenkeeper at Sonning Golf Club.

Working alongside our experienced and successful team, applicants must be able to undertake all basic greenkeeping tasks. We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a keen passion for greenkeeping, with a minimum NVQ level 2. Chainsaw and spraying certifications would be a advantage but not essential.

The position is full time based on a 40 hour week, with weekends worked on a rota basis.

We are looking for a full time F&B assistant, who is friendly, well presented and a team player. Candidates ideally will have previous experience but full training will be given if required. Please note applicants must be 18 or over.

Kitchen Porter

We are recruiting for a kitchen porter to work approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work day, evening and weekend shifts.  Reporting to the Head Chef there will be opportunity to develop within the brigade.
